Car wash in Sharjah: at home, at the station, or the man in the basement — prices compared
There are three ways to get a car wash in Sharjah: queue at a station, hand cash to the man who washes half the basement, or have it done in your own driveway while you have breakfast. They cost about the same per month. They do not do the same thing to your paint.
What a car wash costs in Sharjah (2026)
Option
Per wash
Per month (3× a week)
Notes
Petrol station / tunnel wash
AED 25–45 exterior, AED 60–90 with interior
AED 300–540
Plus your time: 20–40 minutes per visit including the queue.
Basement or street cash washer
—
AED 100–200 per car
Cash, no receipt, one bucket for forty cars, and the schedule is his, not yours.
Mobile wash app (one-off)
AED 49–55 exterior, AED 79–99 interior + exterior
AED 590–660 exterior only
Sedan vs SUV pricing. Good for occasional; expensive at three a week.
At-home driveway wash on a plan
—
About AED 150 per car
Exterior only, 3× a week, same team, no cash. This is the reference 360 uses on its plans.
So the monthly cost is similar across all four. The difference is who is holding the sponge, what is in the bucket, and whether anyone is accountable when the bonnet comes back with swirl marks.
What actually damages paint in Sharjah
Dust plus a dry cloth. Sharjah dust is fine silica. Wiped dry, it is sandpaper. The "quick wipe" the basement washer does between buckets is the single biggest cause of swirl marks here.
One bucket for the whole car park. Grit from car 12 ends up on car 13. Two buckets with grit guards, or a rinse-first method, is the minimum.
Washing at 2 pm in July. Water and soap dry on the panel before they are rinsed and leave etched spots. Early morning or after sunset only.
Irrigation overspray. If your car is parked next to the garden, the sprinklers leave mineral spots that bake on. A three-times-a-week rinse is what stops them becoming permanent.
Tunnel brushes. Modern soft-cloth tunnels are fine; the older rotating-brush ones at some stations are not. Look at the brushes before you drive in.
Why three times a week, and why exterior only
In the dusty months a car parked outside a villa is coated again within two days. Three washes a week keeps dust from sitting long enough to bond, and keeps the paint from needing a polish every spring. Interiors do not need that frequency — a monthly interior clean is plenty for most households — which is why a sensible plan is exterior three times a week and interior on request, not a daily full valet you are paying for and not using.
What to ask before you pay anyone monthly
Which days and what time? "Whenever I'm in the area" is not a schedule.
How many buckets, and is the water changed between cars? You will know from the answer.
What happens if it rains or you are travelling? A company credits or reschedules. A cash washer still collects.
Who do I call about a scratch? A registered business with an invoice has an answer. A phone number does not.
When is payment due? If it is "when I come to collect", watch the dates: cash washers drift two or three days earlier each month, and by December you have paid thirteen times for twelve months of work.
The receipt test. Ask for a VAT invoice. If you cannot get one, you are not dealing with a company — you are dealing with a person, and when he changes jobs, so does your car wash.
Driveway car wash with 360
Every 360 plan includes an exterior wash three times a week in your own driveway, to be done by the same uniformed team that will look after the garden and the windows — early, with clean water, and photographed in your app. Townhouse plans cover one car, Villa and Signature plans cover two. There is no cash, no collection at the door, and the schedule is yours. We do not touch the inside of the car unless you ask; interior cleans are quoted on request.

For cars parked outside a villa, often yes: dust settles daily, and a regular exterior wash at home protects paint better than an occasional station visit. Check water use, products and proof of work before you pay monthly.
How much is a car wash in Sharjah?
A station exterior wash is AED 25–45; with interior, AED 60–90. Mobile app washes are AED 49–55 exterior or AED 79–99 interior and exterior. Basement cash washers charge AED 100–200 a month. A driveway wash three times a week on a plan is about AED 150 a car a month.
Is washing a car three times a week too much?
Not in Sharjah's dusty months. Dust left on paint bonds and scratches when wiped. Frequent exterior rinses are gentler on paint than one hard scrub a week.
Does 360 clean the inside of the car?
The plan covers the exterior three times a week. Interior cleaning is available on request and quoted separately.
Can I keep my current basement washer and use 360 for the rest?
Yes. The idea is that the same team will do the garden, windows and cars on one invoice. Plans are month to month with 30 days' notice.
Which areas of Sharjah do you cover?
We plan to open Masaar first, then other Sharjah communities in the order the waitlist fills.
